Great Lakes Computer Offers Free HP EVAs and HDDs

Great Lakes Computer, a 23-year old technology reseller, will begin offering free HP Enterprise Virtual Arrays and free HP EVA disk drives.

Promoting the performance advantages of the HP EVA StorageWorks product line, Great Lakes Computer will begin offering free Enterprise Virtual Array models including the HP EVA 8000, EVA 6000, EVA 4400, and EVA 4000.

The only requirement to get a free HP EVA SAN is to purchase the Unlimited Command View license along with your Enterprise Virtual Array. Combine that with Great Lakes Computer’s exclusive buy 3 get 5 free -or- buy 4 get 4 free (depending on the model) HP EVA disk promotion, and the potential for savings really adds up. Eligible EVA models and EVA disks are listed below.

This promotion is available only through Great Lakes Computer and is being offered at discount levels not seen by even the largest enterprise customers. Any HP EVA model can be custom configured for incremental charges.

When asked what was behind the free HP EVA and disk promotion, a company spokesperson stated: "We want to promote our engineering capabilities and on-site professional services on a national level. We also want to offer our aggressive prices on HP’s EVA product line to a broader customer base. With flat IT budgets, what better way is there to get the word out than by offering free HP EVAs and free EVA disks?"
