Wikibon Mastermind Alliance Taps Industry Experts

Wikibon, the place where business technology professionals gather to solve challenging problems and share knowledge, announced the Storage Industry Mastermind Alliance – SIM Alliance. The SIM Alliance is a collaboration of leading storage industry subject matter experts, consultants, bloggers and industry analysts that are ‘super contributors’ to the Wikibon community. The Alliance leverages the power of social media and Peer Incite to create value added services for Wikibon constituents.

"We’ve formed the Mastermind Alliance by collaborating with the best independent experts in the industry," said David Vellante, a Wikibon founder. "Our members and clients are benefiting from the deep understanding these professionals possess and our collective belief that the power of we is greater than the power of me."

The Alliance began as an informal collaboration in December 2008 and has blossomed into an ongoing set of innovative business practices and value-added services that includes:

• Active participation in Wikibon’s Peer Incite research meetings.
• Postings on Wikibon and on the Wikibon blog.
• Seven new Wikibon portals championed by members of the Alliance.
• Community inquiry support for Wikibon’s user and vendor clients using Wikibon’s Ask A Question service.
• Participation in Wikibon vendor and technology briefings.
• Coordinated research collaborations on behalf of Wikibon’s user and vendor clients.
