Alon Webman VP of Engineering, Switch Products, at Mellanox

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. has promoted Alon Webman to vice president of engineering, switch products. He will report to Roni Ashuri, Mellanox’s vice president of engineering.

“Alon’s contributions to Mellanox have been invaluable over the years, and his breadth of experience makes him very well qualified to take on the role of driving engineering programs for our switch business,” said Eyal Waldman, chairman, president, and CEO of Mellanox Technologies. “With his intimate knowledge of our silicon products, Alon will bring key insights to the job of expanding our switch lineup.”

Mr. Webman was a co-founder of Mellanox in 1999 and he has served the company in numerous roles over the past ten years, including chip development, post-silicon management, program management, and customer support. Prior to Mellanox, he held various engineering positions at Intel and Nexus. Mr. Webman holds a BSEE in electrical engineering from Israel’s Technion institute.
