Maxdata, New OEM for Dot Hill

Dot Hill Systems Corp. has entered an OEM partnership agreement with MAXDATA GmbH, manufacturer of enterprise computing solutions, products, software and services.

Under the terms of the agreement, MAXDATA will incorporate Dot Hill’s high performance, modular enterprise storage products based on the company’s Rapid Evolution (R/Evolution) architecture as the core storage platform for its IT solutions portfolio.

Jurgen Werneke, managing director of MAXDATA, commented: "After close examination of the market, Dot Hill was the only vendor able to provide a storage solution platform that offered complete flexibility in terms of host interface choice, drive type and drive form factor.
