This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 20, 2009 at 3:52 pmMXsense Solutions, Inc.has enhanced its Web-based email archiving solution by adding a number of key features including support for envelope journaling and more. Powered by Microsoft’s Exchange Server, envelope journaling allows MXsense to capture additional information about email messages including BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) and distribution list recipients. Other features include saved searches and added security functionality that supports group-level access.
“We are excited to introduce these new usability enhancements to our MXsense email archiving solution as a value-add to our customers,” noted William Cobb, Chief Technology Officer at MXsense Solutions, Inc. “Features such as envelope journaling will help users glean mission-critical data from archived emails. We continue to stay focused on implementing new functionality to improve the user experience for our customers.”
The enhanced version of MXsense, available today, includes a message view capability that enables users to create saved searches for quick review. In addition, MXsense has added a security configuration tool that helps administrators manage user-level security among users by segmenting them into distinct access groups.
These new enhancements build upon support for Microsoft’s Windows Active Directory which was announced in January. With support for Active Directory, the process of adding, configuring and managing users in MXsense is done automatically, so that administration is greatly streamlined. Users of MXsense login with their standard Active Directory user ID and password – providing a single sign-on solution and centralized administration.
As a hosted, software as a service (SaaS) email archiving solution, MXsense provides a powerful search engine with built-in indexing and archiving features designed to manage the ever-growing volumes of information and intelligence stored in email communications and attachments.
To get started, MXsense’s “First Ten Program” includes a fully functional version of MXsense for an unlimited number of users and up to 10GB of storage for free.
