Sanrad Hyper-V-Stor Supports Windows Server 2008 Virtualization

To ensure end-to-end business continuity and availability

SANRAD,in business continuity storage solutions for virtual computing environments, announces the release of Hyper-V-STOR, its campus cluster solution for the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 failover cluster with Hyper-V. The combination of Microsoft and SANRAD’s technology ensures end-to-end business continuity and availability.

We now provide a universal solution for any virtualized environment,” states Oded Ilan, CEO, SANRAD. “Our V-STOR supports both Hyper-V and VMware, allowing us to provide the peace of mind that comes from our dependable SAN solutions to an even larger group of organizations.”

SANRAD’s architecture allows SANRAD V-STOR to support two remotely located sites running Microsoft Hyper-V. This maintains redundant paths from the servers to the V-STORs, while the V-STORs are connected for synchronized mirroring. Thus, highly available, failover storage is maintained at both the server level and the storage level between the sites. At the same time, the V-STOR cluster facilitates synchronous FC or IP mirroring capabilities, ensuring zero data loss at both sites.

SANRAD Hyper-V-STOR solution uses a unique, open architecture that can also leverage existing storage assets and supports devices across vendors. Combining all of this with SMB cost levels, increased storage utilization and reduced power consumption provides rapid ROI.

"The dynamic synergy between SANRAD V-STOR and Hyper-V results in a complete disaster recovery system,” states Allon Cohen, VP of Product Management, SANRAD. “Our system reliability allows IT teams to rest assured their virtual environment will continue to service end-users and frees their time to focus on resolving the root cause of the network crisis.”
