Between business users and consumers

The feature-rich, but user-friendly LinkStation storage line will be geared toward consumers and prosumers while the robust, high-capacity TeraStation devices are designed for the SMB market and ideal for storing mission-critical files in a business environment. The consumer-level LinkStation products will come with a one-year warranty while the TeraStation devices will have a three-year warranty.
“With the new distinction, businesses and consumers can more easily differentiate between product lines and find the device that best fits their needs and networking environment,” said Ken Higgins, vice president of sales at Buffalo Technology. “Buffalo will continue to build both product lines with the latest technology and further equipping both with features pertaining to individual needs.”
