His responsibilities for the company include direct and channel sales and business development activities, globally. With over twenty years of sales management and business development experience, most recently with Guidance Software, Feinland will lead the growth of Index Engines’ sales team.

Throughout his career, Feinland has provided expertise and leadership for direct and indirect sales, business development, and sales operations, with a focus on enterprise discovery technology. Sheldon has proven success in launching innovative technology into the broad base market for wide scale acceptance. Both his sales accomplishments and his knowledge of the eDiscovery market, make Feinland a strong addition to the Index Engines team.
Prior to joining Index Engines, Feinland was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Guidance Software, an eDiscovery software company. In this position he was able to grow the company’s revenues by over 200% and successfully scale the sales force globally, while the company underwent an IPO. During Feinland’s tenure at Guidance, he also lead North American sales where he was responsible for growing the enterprise software business by over 300%. Feinland joined Guidance Software from Mantas, Inc., a compliance software company. At Mantas he served as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and was responsible for more than $20 million in revenue. Prior to Mantas, Feinland held senior sales management positions with numerous software companies including Clearswift, Whitelight Systems and Comshare.
