Verbatim Licensed Core Flash’ Patent Portfolio

From The TPL Group

Alliacense, a TPL Group enterprise executing design and implementation of Intellectual Property (IP) licensing programs, announced that Verbatim Americas, LLC, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, a recognized world leader in the chemical and computer industries, has purchased a license to the CORE Flash’ Patent Portfolio from The TPL Group. The agreement makes Verbatim the eighth company to purchase a CORE Flash license in the past 15 months.

"We are delighted by the accelerated momentum of the CORE Flash Licensing Program," stated Bruce Sanderson, Vice President of Licensing for Alliacense. "Following closely on the heels of our recent ASUSTeK announcement, the Verbatim agreement is another strong recognition of the value and competitive edge that CORE Flash technologies bring to this innovative consumer products firm."

Alliacense developed the CORE Flash Portfolio Licensing Program to serve leading system manufacturers and marketers of consumer electronics, computer systems, and printers, as well as retail digital photofinishing service providers, according to Sanderson. He also stated that licensing opportunities are being discussed with dozens of major system manufacturers and marketers worldwide.
