EZQuest Cinema Pro RAID

With space for up to 16 hard drives and 24 TB of storage, the Cinema Pro delivers speed, function and value for video editors who have an ever-increasing need for storage and speed. The Cinema Pro meets the performance, portability, scalability and redundancy standards creative content professionals need for an all-digital workflow.
The Cinema Pro comes in a 16 bay, hot swappable, 3U rack-mountable form factor, with up to 24TB of storage, utilizing an external 20GB/s PCIe bus, it delivers lighting fast data transfer rates of over 900MB/s in RAID Level 0 and over 870MB/s in RAID 5. Speed is not a problem and it will support multi-stream SD, HD and 2K even 4k film environments on Mac or PC workstations. It comes standard with 2GB SDRAM cache memory on a built-in 800Mhz Intel IOP341 I/O processor. The Cinema Pro ships with built in RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD that is configured with EZQuest’s GUI RAID utility and offers both a e-mail (SMTP) and remote (SNMP) support notification system. With an optional redundant power supply and RAID cache battery backup module, precious data is made secure at all times and is fully expandable via the equipped 20Gb/s PCI-express extender port that enables daisy-chaining capabilities.

The Cinema Pro ships in March 2009 with capacities of up to 24TB and an MSRP starting at $8,849.
