Acronis Launched Channels 1st Program
To expand sales
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 30, 2008 at 2:44 pmAcronis, Inc. launched the Channels 1st Program which provides advanced marketing resources and guidance to its growing Gold-level reseller community.
At the same time, the company announced that 65 Gold and 120 Silver resellers have joined its Authorized Solution Provider Program in North America this year, further solidifying its commitment to the channel to sell affordable, scalable storage management and disaster recovery software.
Channels 1st includes a broad range of sales and marketing resources designed to assist Gold-level partners with generating their own leads to build robust sales pipelines. Among the components of the program are customizable demand generation campaigns, special promotional offers, joint public relations and events support, and tools to assist them in identifying Acronis product sales opportunities.
The Acronis Authorized Solution Provider Program, honored earlier this year with a VARBusiness Magazine Gold 5-Star designation, offers up to 15% increased margins, plus sales support and certified technical training for its Gold, Silver and Authorized Volume Reseller Partners.
"The sales and promotional materials provided by Acronis are first rate," said Ken Gensheimer, vice president of Alternative Computer Technology, West Chester, OH, and a Gold-level Authorized Solutions Provider. "The sales materials were fully customizable and drove sales leads directly to me. I was able to generate business from customers who otherwise might have not known that we carry Acronis products."
"Selling our software through the channel is important to us, so much so that last year we adjusted the compensation in our direct sales organization to make it more lucrative to work with partners," said David Brow, vice president of channel sales at Acronis. "The response has been phenomenal. We welcome these new members to our channel program and look forward to a mutually successful relationship with each."
