This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 29, 2008 at 3:42 pmHahn & Hessen LLP has been selected as lead counsel to the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the Chapter 11 cases of MPC Computers, LLC and its eight wholly-owned subsidiaries filed in Delaware Bankruptcy Court. Members of the Creditors’ Committee include: Flextronics Computing Mauritius Limited; H. Co. Computer Products d/b/a ThinkCP Technologies; Technology Insurance Company; Quanta Computer Inc.; Document Storage Systems, Inc.; EMC Corporation; and United Parcel Service. Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP has been selected as Delaware counsel. Mark S. Indelicato and Mark T. Power, partners in the Firm’s bankruptcy group, are heading up the engagement.
MPC sells and services computer hardware under the brand names MPC and Gateway, primarily in the educational and government markets. Current annual revenues through September 30, 2008 were approximately $345 million.
