Of its online storage and backup services
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on December 18, 2008 at 3:50 pmSteek S.A. says it now has more than 2 million users. The company explains that the growth is fueled by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) implementing its solutions and by the increasing number of ISP subscribers constantly producing content and seeking to share and protect that content from loss and theft.
Christophe Camborde, Steek CEO explains: “Our objective is to convince more ISPs and integrators to implement our platform so that they get a decisive competitive advantage against pure players.”
Jean-Michel Gobet, Steek Marketing Director adds: “Steek Backup, the Company’s online backup service, provides the right Premium offer for any ISP: it offers a really simple online backup service to end-users: installation with no user intervention required and all the personal documents stored on the Mac or PC hard disk backed up without limit”. Gobet concludes: “In the coming months, Steek will dramatically increase the number of users simply because we offer the right set of online services to ISPs.”
The company has recently taken steps to muscle up its worldwide presence. Steek now operates datacenters in Paris, Bordeaux, Washington DC and Singapore to provide local service to its global customers.
