Xinnor Signs Reseller Agreement with Supermicro and Announce Strategic Relationship to Deliver HA NVMe Storage Solutions

Supermicro will offer xiRAID Classic as certified solution for its NVMe servers.

Xinnor Ltd. and Supermicro, Inc. announced the signature of the reseller agreement and the creation of a strategic relationship to deliver ultra-resilient, high-availability storage systems powered by Xinnor’s xiRAID Classic software.

Supermicro Xinnor LogosThe reseller agreement entitles Supermicro to resell Xinnor’s software with Supermicro’s portfolio of NVMe servers including Petascale storage servers and Hyper general-purpose servers. In addition, the two companies collaborated to jointly validate Supermicro’s Storage Bridge Bay (SBB) SuperServer SSG-221E-DN2R24R with xiRAID Classic in HA mode. Combining Supermicro high availability system with Xinnor’s software, it is possible to build an extremely fast ‘cluster-in-a-box’, capable of surviving multiple drive failures and a complete server node outage, without downtime and risk of losing data.

The jointly validated solution leverages 24 Kioxia CM7-R Series PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs, split into namespaces across two server nodes, to achieve very high performance and redundancy. As demonstrated in the joint white paper, the system delivers up to 226GB/s sequential read, 64.4GB/s sequential write, 12 million IOs random read, 1.53 million IOs random write, and 95-100% RAID efficiency, while ensuring seamless failover of the RAIDs from one server node to the other via xiRAID clustering capabilities. Performance can be enhanced further by using Kioxia CM7-V Series SSDs. This architecture is ideal for mission-critical applications requiring both speed, data integrity and continuous uptime.

This collaboration marks a milestone in software-defined storage,” said Davide Villa, CRO, Xinnor. “xiRAID eliminates traditional RAID bottlenecks, enabling Supermicro’s servers to fully harness NVMe Gen5 speeds while ensuring data protection and zero downtime. The reseller agreement amplifies our reach, bringing enterprise-grade resiliency to a broader market.”

Under the reseller agreement, Supermicro will offer xiRAID Classic as a certified solution for its NVMe servers. The software’s flexibility supports multiple RAID levels and optimizes performance for demanding workloads like AI, HPC and databases in a variety of industries, including finance, healthcare, cybersecurity and cloud services.
