Reinforcing commitment to standards-based storage management

The SNIA Storage Management community (SM) is pleased to announce the election of its 2025 Governing Board.

The leadership team is composed of industry experts and will continue to guide Storage Management’s mission to foster the creation of implementable, deployable and verifiable end-user storage management solutions, based on industry and SNIA standards, that can be adopted across the storage industry.

The 2025 SM Governing Board is:

Officers:

  • Chair: Richelle Ahlvers, Director, Ecosystem Enabling and Technology Initiatives, Intel Corporation
  • Vice Chair: Chris Lionetti, Senior Technical Marketing Engineer, Hewlett Packard Enterprise

Elected Directors:

I’m happy to continue to lead the SNIA Storage Management Community in 2025 and work alongside such a dedicated and talented board,” said Richelle Ahlvers, SNIA Storage Management Chair. “In 2025, we are committed to accelerating the development, adoption and continued deployment of SNIA Swordfish technology, expanding the use of the SM Lab interoperability environment for storage standards and supporting the Swordfish Technical Work Group (TWG.)
