Assured Data Protection in Strategic Partnership with Wavenet

Assured Data Protection Ltd. (Assured) and Wavenet announced a strategic partnership to provide enterprise grade backup and DR solutions to customers across the UK.

Through the partnership, Wavenet will offer Rubrik’s data protection platform as a managed service through Assured’s 2nd site data replication infrastructure to bolster customers’ cyber resiliency. This partnership is part of a drive to increase Wavenet’s range of services, in line with the company’s rapid expansion through organic growth and acquisition and follows the announcement of a merger between Wavenet and Daisy Corporate Services in May, to form the UK’s largest independent IT MSP.

The partnership will strengthen Wavenet’s cyber security offer, at a time when ransomware continues to be a major threat across all sectors. Until now, the company has offered DR and backup services as point solutions, on request. Partnering with Assured will allow them to take a more proactive approach, offering true immutable backup and DR and cyber resiliency solutions to public and private sector organisations, which can only be guaranteed through data replication at a second site. Wavenet anticipates increased demand for these services in vertical markets in which it already has a strong presence, such as education, retail, and oil and gas, as well as other markets.

Assured, which was founded in the UK, is the largest Rubrik MSP, servicing the U.S. and other international markets. It is a MSP that focuses on providing innovative data management, backup, DR, and business continuity solutions.
