QNAP Introduces Hybrid Backup Center (Beta) Cloud Platform that Streamlines Multi-site Backup

QNAP Systems, Inc. announced the Beta release of Hybrid Backup Center, a SaaS platform that streamlines and centralizes backup management.

With a unified interface, Hybrid Backup Center enables users to efficiently manage Hybrid Backup Sync tasks across multiple company’s NAS located across different sites. This solution is tailored for businesses with extensive NAS deployments, offering control over complex backup operations. Hybrid Backup Center reduces IT overhead and enhances data protection and reliability through simplified implementation of the 3-2-1 backup strategy.

• Central management: Centrally manage 1-to-N or N-to-1 backup/sync jobs of Hybrid Backup Sync, schedule multiple backup tasks, and restore data.

• Real-time monitoring: Monitor the status of backup/restore jobs across multiple QNAP NAS and supported targets, and back up logs in the dashboard.

• Supports QNAP NAS, cloud storage services, and file servers: Backup, restore, and sync data to/from local storage, cloud services (including QNAP-hosted myQNAPcloud Storage), or remote servers (using RTRR, Rsync, FTP, and CIFS/SMB protocols).

• Intuitive topology widget: Users can visualize the entire backup infrastructure with a dynamic, user-friendly topology view. This feature offers a complete overview of all connected NAS devices, backup destinations, and job statuses, providing real-time insights and simplifying backup management for seamless operation and enhanced efficiency.

• Versioning and retention: Supports backup versions by numbers or days for continuous data protection.
