Icy Dock unveils the CP139 concept product ^(*), a ruggedized removable dual E3.S 1T PCIe 5.0 mobile rack enclosure, supporting up to 128Gb/s data transfer speeds through MCIO 8i (SFF-TA-1016) connection.

This drive mobile rack fits an external 3.5” drive bay (floppy bay) space. With the advantage of removable drive trays in the frontal drive bay space, users can effortlessly add or remove enterprise E3.S 1T drives without disassembling the computer case.

Effortless drive exchange

The CP139 redefines ease with its heavy-duty metal drive tray and hot-plug capability for E3.S 1T NVMe SSDs, enabling drive changes without system shutdowns or case dismantling. Each removable drive tray can support E3.S 1T SSDs up to 7.5mm in height.

PCIe 5.0 transfer speeds

Redefining speed, the CP139, infused with a MCIO 8i connector, supports 2xPCIe 5.0 E3.S 1T SSDs. Revel in transfer rates reaching 128Gb/SSD slot – a velocity fourfold of PCIe 3.0 and a staggering twentyfold of 6Gb SATA.

Rugged all-metal design

Ensuring the drive enclosure can be relied upon for many years, the CP139 is constructed out of heavy-duty metal throughout the entire device, including the drive trays, which are capable of holding up in harsh environments, such as military and medical systems that require a flammability rating.

Optimal cooling efficiency

The built-in 25mm cooling fan disperses the heat generated by the E3.S 1T NVMe SSDs through the intelligently-placed ventilation holes around the enclosure.
