Its storage medium preserves data for virtually unlimited periods without requiring a power source. The physical storage method ensures robust data integrity, eliminating the need for periodic fixity checks, making it a solution for long-term, low-maintenance storage.

Cerabyte’s storage lowers the TCO for data centers with its durable and energy-efficient technology. By storing data as physical bits in the form of holes on recyclable ceramic-on-glass sheets, the company offers a storage medium that preserves data for virtually unlimited periods without requiring any power source. This physical storage method also ensures robust data integrity, eliminating the need for periodic fixity checks as it does not exhibit bit rot, even in extreme conditions, making it a solution for long-term, low-maintenance storage.

At SC24, Cerabyte will participate in multiple sessions, engaging with partners and attendees through presentations and discussions, including:

  • How emerging AI use cases will shape Future of Storage
This presentation will dive into how AI will indirectly fuel the exploding demand for storage through AI-assisted applications, such as autonomous cars, health diagnostics, or surveillance. Attendees will learn why cold data needs to be retrieved longer expected by Steffen Hellmold, president, Cerabyte on Tuesday, November 19 at Arcitecta booth.

  • Preserving Human Story: Our Obligation to Pass on Knowledge to Future Generations
This presentation will dive into the fascinating idea of how to preserve information for the future. Attendees will hear about the efforts to ensure the human legacy of science, technology and culture endures more than a century without consuming energy or resources by Martin Kunze, co-founder and VP of marketing, Cerabyte, on Wednesday, November 20 at Arcitecta booth.

Additionally, Cerabyte will sponsor “Chicken, Data Storage, & Beer” on Monday, November 18 at the College Football Hall of Fame. Hosted by The Storage Technology Showcase, this multi-vendor pitch fest features each participating company presenting a brief, 5mn overview of its storage solutions to pique audience interest before the exhibition opens. Attendees can enjoy Chick-fil-A, beer, and soft drinks while networking and learning about storage advancements.
