Transcend Information Inc. has released a duo of industrial-grade CFast memory cards – the CFX730 and the CFX610, featuring optimal transfer speeds and durability, which support gaming and entertainment machines, medical equipment, and transportation systems for 24/7 uninterrupted operations.Performance and better storage efficiency
The company’s CFX730 and CFX610 both meet the CFast 2.0 spec, utilizing 112-layer 3D NAND flash and the 6Gb SATA interface, offering storage capacities of up to 1TB. In addition, wide temperature (-40°C-85°C) models are also available, capable of withstanding harsh operating environments. The CFX730, in particular, incorporates SLC Mode technology, which provides endurance of up to 100,000 P/E cycles and stable write performance, suitable for intensive write applications for use with embedded systems.

Further evolution in reliability and durability
The CFX730 and CFX610 feature built-in Wear-Leveling and Bad Block Management functions, effectively prolonging the lifespan of flash memory and enhancing card durability, overall. The LDPC ECC engine detects and corrects data errors, ensuring the accuracy of data transmission, while the hardware-based AES encryption effectively safeguards confidential data. Additionally, both the CFX730 and CFX610 feature the Write Protect function which can prevent the risk of data from being deleted or overwritten accidentally, or deliberately tampered with. Last but not least, in abnormal events, such as sudden power loss/failure, it can also protect the integrity of stored data, serving as a useful data protection measure for enterprises.

The company also offers the Scope Pro monitoring software, tailored for the purpose of smart remote management. Its many capabilities include S.M.A.R.T. analysis, health status check, card encryption, and various other useful features aimed at maintaining and sustaining overall card performance and lifespan.
