TerraMaster 4-Bay D4-320 Desktop DAS with USB3.2

TerraMaster Technology Co. Ltd. launched D4-320, a updated USB storage of previous D4-300.

The configured USB interface has been upgraded from 5Gb/s USB3.1 to 10Gb/s USB3.2 Gen2 interface, providing doubled data transmission bandwidth.

D4-320 adopts the company’s design concept with more simple appearance and more convenient HDD installation. By optimizing the internal structure design of the product and adding measures to suppress noise diffusion, and the overall noise level has been reduced by 50% compared with the previous-gen.

D4-320 key features:

10Gb/s speed
The D4-320 utilizes the USB3.2 Gen2 protocol to achieve a data transfer speed of up to 10Gb/s, 2x the speed of the D4-300 (5Gb/s). When equipped with 4 HDDs, the actual RW speeds can thus be measured at up to 1,016MB/s (combined RW with WD Red 8TBx4). Even with just 1 hard drive installed, the read speed reaches 510MB/s (WD Red 1TB SSD). Thus, whether using multiple HDDs operating in parallel or ensuring the operation of a single hard drive, the D4-320 demonstrates performance.

Up to 96TB storage space
The D4-320 combines large-capacity storage and high-speed performance, supporting 4xSATA HDDs or 4xSATA SSDs, with a maximum capacity of up to 96TB (24TBx4).

TPC Backupper Supported
D4-320 comes with free firm’s TPC Backupper software to backup Windows PC data. It supports incremental and differential backup strategies to ensure easy data backup and worry-free storage.

Expansion of TNAS storage space
