With these cards, creators have more reliable and stable operation options with the newest large capacity, fast cards from the company.
Fast and reliable
The CEB-G480T (480GB) has a maximum read speed of 1,850MB/s and max. write speed of 1,750MB/s (1). The CEB-G240T (240GB) has a maximum read speed of 1,850MB/s and maximum write speed of 1,600MB/s (1). The CEB-G series is designed for professional photographers, videographers and enthusiasts looking to boost workflows with its fast speed and reliability. Thanks to their fast write speed, they can be paired with high-resolution cameras.
Both cards offer fast data transfer to a PC with CFexpress Type B card reader MRW-G1 (sold separately). Enabling a workflow while handling large high-resolution photos and high-bitrate video, to turn projects around quickly.
The CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T include scan and rescue software applications capability that provide true peace of mind
For example, when used with the MRW-G1 card reader (sold separately), Sony’s Media Scan Utility automatically scans the CFexpress Type B memory card, keeping the user informed of its condition and storage limit.
Plus, never lose a moment with the downloadable Memory Card File Rescue for Sony memory card customers that recovers accidentally deleted files in today’s most common formats.(*) Media Scan Utility and Memory Card File Rescue are available for download (2).
Tough and durable
These series cards are more resilient, the CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T offer the same toughness with 5x greater drop strength (3) and 3x greater bendability (3) while also being able to flawlessly work in extreme temperatures, X-rays, electrostatic and intensive UV sunlight (4).
The CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T are 29.6×38.5×3.8mm and weighs approximately 10g.

The CEB-G480T and CEB-G240T will be available in early March 2024. CEB-G480T – £340, and CEB-G240T – £220.
