This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 5, 2024 at 2:02 pmTranscend Information Inc. launches the MTS570P, a Power Loss Protection (PLP) SSD aimed at enhancing storage reliability for embedded systems.
Engineered with a compact form factor without compromising on performance, it is a solution for edge servers, IoV systems, network switches, POS machines, and various other types of edge devices.
Power Loss Protection: Data integrity and stability guaranteed
Power Loss Protection (PLP) stands as a critical feature in modern embedded systems, particularly when used in rugged environments. Its main purpose is to safeguard data integrity during unstable power supply or unexpected power loss/failure, ultimately enhancing overall system reliability and safety by providing a stable and secure storage solution.
Enhanced reliability for challenging environments
The M.2 SSD MTS570P which features the M.2 2242 form factor, the SATA 3 interface, and 112-layer 3D NAND flash, operates reliably within a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. With the addition of Corner Bond technology, anti-sulfur resistors, and 30µ” PCB gold fingers, it shields key components from shock, vibration, and sulfur contamination, all of which help enhance overall drive durability.
Software and hardware integration to better empower smart manufacturing systems
The company also offers the Scope Pro monitoring software, tailored for smart remote management. Its capabilities include S.M.A.R.T. analysis, capacitance value checks of tantalum capacitors, early warning notifications, and various other features aimed at maintaining the SSD’s performance and prolonging its overall lifespan.
The MTS570P SSD comes with a 3-year limited warranty
