Total WW Revenue of Nakivo Grew by 8% in 2023 Vs. 2022
And sales in Europe by 13%

Revenue: In 2023, revenue in Europe grew by 13% compared to 2022. Total revenue WW grew by 8% in 2023 vs. 2022. Of the total revenue in 2023, 56% came from the EMEA region, 31% came from the Americas, and 13% came from the AsiaPac region. USA, Germany, and Italy were the highest revenue producers in 2023.
Revenue grew more than 100% Y/Y in Greece, Algeria, British Virgin Islands, Egypt, Estonia, Ghana, Guatemala, Mauritius, Montenegro, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Uganda, Uruguay, and Zimbabwe.
Customers: Currently, the company has over 27,000 paid customers in 182 countries. The customer base grew by 13% in 2023 vs. 2022. The number of new customers grew by 13% in the EMEA region, by 14% in the AsiaPac region, and by 11% in the Americas. In 4Q23, Nakivo expanded into Cape Verde and Eswatini for the first time.
Enterprises continue to choose firm’s Backup & Replication as their preferred data protection solution, with new deployments growing by 11% in 2023 vs. 2022.
A sample of customers in 4Q23 includes UC San Diego, Crealogix AG, Northwest Open Access Network, Isel, Walterfedy.
Some examples of customer success stories in 4Q23 include: Ottoman’s Life Hotel, Dita EstFarm, and Orleans Southwest Supervisory Unit.
Technology Partners: In 2023, the software company delivered Backup & Replication via technology partners, as more enterprises and SMBs chose to install Backup & Replication on partner hardware. Mainly, Asustor NAS installations grew by 10% in 2023 vs. 2022.
Solution Partners: The vendor has over 8,000 software solution providers as partners across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the AsiaPac region. In 4Q23, 198 new solution providers joined the firm’s Partner Program and offer its products to their enterprise and SMB customers. In 3Q23, partners from Benin and Myanmar joined for the first time.
MSPs: Firm’s MSP Program enables managed service, cloud, and hosting providers to deliver VM backup as-a-service (BaaS), VM replication as a service (RaaS), and VM DR as a service (DRaaS) for their customers. In 2023, the number of MSPs grew by 18% vs. 2022.

- v10.8 with vSphere 8 support, MSP console, and hybrid cloud backup
- v10.9 with bare-metal recovery, direct recovery from tape, and backup malware scan
- v10.10 with real-time replication (beta) for VMware
- v10.10.1 with vSphere 8 update support
