Seagate Nytro 4350 PCIe Gen4 X4 NVMe 1.4 Up to 1.92TB M.2 2280 SSD Engineered with Phison
Up to 800,000 and 58,000 IO/s random RW speeds, delivering 1 DWPD at 2 million hours MTBF
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on November 28, 2023 at 2:01 pmSeagate Technology Holdings plc announced the Nytro 4350 NVMe SSD, its latest addition to its Nytro drive portfolio.
Engineered with Phison Electronics Corp, this drive delivers performance, low latency, low power consumption, and high QoS for data centers.
Designed to improve QoS, the PCIe Gen 4 drive achieves over 10x the bandwidth while doubling the throughput of SATA SSDs. It removes data bottlenecks with up to 58,000 IO/s random write speeds and up to 800,000 IO/s random read speeds to provide consistent response times and offers more computing power with less energy consumption with the drive’s 3.3V power supply. This SSD brings up to 1.92TB capacity in a M.2 2280 form factor and is designed to take on enterprise workloads, delivering 1 DWPD at 2 million hours MTBF for enhanced endurance.
To help prevent data loss in the event of unexpected power failure, it includes power loss data protection and a 5-year limited warranty. Compatible with Linux and Microsoft OSs, the drive is also packed with OCP NVMe SSD 2.0 support (1) enabling integration into OCP compliant systems. It features SMART thermal monitoring and end-to-end data protection for enterprise grade reliability, and Seagate SeaTools drive management software to monitor drive health.
Available next month, the Nytro 4350 NVMe SSD brings performance to data center.
(1) Complies with most (not all) requirements of the Open Compute Project Datacenter NVMe SSD Spec 2.0.
