Unit shipments slip 7% sequentially to just over 38 million as industry continues to weather downturn
Seagate‘s capacity shipments of 91.16EB declines 23% Q/Q as unit shipments dipped 2% over the same period to 14.30 million HDDs.
Toshiba‘s capacity shipments of 19.84EB slipped 5% Q/Q while unit fell 19% over the same period to 5.19 million HDDs.
Westen Digital‘s nearline capacity shipments dropped a sharp 29% Q/Q to 53.42EB, resulting in a 19% sequential decline in overalll capacity shipped, failing to 78.39EB in 2CQ23.
