IBM Spectrum Fusion HCI is rebranded to IBM Storage Fusion HCI.
IBM reveals the strength of the storage portfolio through the IBM Storage brand name. Spectrum Fusion HCI is being rebranded to Storage Fusion HCI to reinforce the most recent go to market strategy for the storage portfolio. Product PIDs, parts, licenses, code, and documentation will be renamed in future releases to complete this transition.
Storage Fusion HCI
It’s is a container-native hybrid cloud data solution for Kubernetes applications on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. It features an appliance form-factor, HCI along with integrated SDS to meet the storage requirements of modern, stateful Kubernetes applications. It is designed to make it easy to deploy and manage container-native applications and their data on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
IBM Storage Fusion HCI features include:

- Integrated software-defined, cloud-native storage

Key requirements:
Storage Fusion HCI requires Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform which must be purchased separately by the client from Red Hat or an authorized Red Hat partner. The IBM Storage Modeller tool provides guidance for the number of Red Hat OpenShift entitlements that are required for an Storage Fusion HCI configuration
