IBM Storage Expert Care delivers a simplified method to select services and support for the IBM Diamondback Tape Library

IBM Storage Expert Care extends its simplified and standardized support approach to the IBM Diamondback Tape Library to help keep systems operating at peak performance. Clients can choose their preferred level of support from two tiers, Basic and Premium, each priced as a percentage of the hardware sales price. This allows for easy, straightforward quoting from a single system.

The 2 tiers enable clients to select the level of service required to support their environment. Ranging from base-level services to enhanced services, these offerings are designed to improve product resiliency and reliability and reduce the operational costs associated with managing and maintaining increasingly complex and integrated IT environments.

Services available in the Storage Expert Care tiers include:

  • Hardware maintenance support
  • Support line
  • Predictive support
  • Enhanced response time for defect support
  • Hardware Remote Code Load (RCL)
  • Technical Account Manager (TAM)

When it comes to maintaining the HA, resiliency, and reliability of the systems and devices that run your business, Storage Expert Care for Diamondback Tape Library enables to easily select the right level of expert service. It provides a simple method that can help organizations avoid long procurement and contracting processes by enabling the acquisition of services at the time of the product purchase.

Storage Expert Care services for the Diamondback Tape Library are available to order for years 1 through 5. Clients that require additional year pricing for the same services provided by Storage Expert Care can request a quote using the special bid process.

You can select from 2 levels of support:

  • Basic level includes hardware maintenance with next-business-day, on-site response and Support Line.
  • Premium level includes hardware maintenance with same-business-day, on-site response, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; Support Line; predictive support; enhanced response time for defect support; hardware RCL; and access to a dedicated TAM.
