NAB Show: Lexar Up to 2TB Professional CFexpress Type B Card Gold Series

Lexar, a Shenzhen Longsys Electronics Co., Ltd. company, announced new capacities up to 2TB for the Professional CFexpress Type B card GOLD Series as well as a performance enhancement for the 128-512GB cards.

Designed for professional videographers looking to capture cinema-quality video, the CFexpress Type B card GOLD Series boasts fast performance with speeds up to 1,900MB/s⁽¹⁾ read and up to 1,500MB/s ⁽¹⁾ write.

With minimum sustained write speeds of 1,300MB/s ⁽¹⁾, the Professional CFexpress Type B card GOLD Series enables recording from start to finish without dropping a frame, allowing professionals to get the most out of their cameras. It also offers capacities of 1 and 2TB, so professional videographers can handle demanding workloads without having to constantly change cards. In addition, the 1-2TB cards are RED Approved.

The company will also host creators Rory Kramer, Andy To, Jenny Alice, and Jakob Owens at NAB Show from April 16-18. They will be speaking about their professional workflow at the firm’s  booth.

The Professional CFexpress Type B card GOLD Series will be available in North America in 2Q23 at an MSRP of $729.99 for 2TB; $469.99 for 1TB; $389.99 for 512GB; $299.99 for 256GB; $199.99 for 128GB and is available this month in other regions.
