NAB Show: DataCore Perifery Division for Growing Edge Markets
Building on acquisitions of Object Matrix, Caringo, and MayaData to offer edge solutions for companies in M&E

Initially, Perifery will serve the M&E market, followed by health care, retail, and manufacturing in the near future. It offers edge devices and solutions for M&E that speed up content monetization and provide growing industries with more cost-predictable storage, AI services, and preprocessing technology options.
“Building on the recent acquisitions of Object Matrix, Caringo, and MayaData, Perifery was created to bring a clear focus and attention to the needs of high-growth, data-driven markets,” said Dave Zabrowski, CEO. “With the launch of our Perifery division, we’ve invested in extremely talented and experienced individuals in the space, and we look forward to bringing innovation to the edge.”
Perifery is led by Abhijit Dey, GM and COO, and an experienced leadership team with decades of expertise in storage workflow solutions. The division is backed by WW distribution, with over 400 channel partners and a group of engineering, sales, and marketing executives.
