Joe McCormick Senior Software Engineer, ThinkParQ

ThinkParQ GmbH, the company behind the parallel file system, BeeGFS, is investing in building out new cloud capabilities with the recent appointment of Joe McCormick to its engineering team.

As a new member of the firm’s engineering and development team, he will play an instrumental role in developing the next gen of BeeGFS capabilities that offer users the flexibility they need to deploy storage both in the cloud and on-premises, while keeping costs in check.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team at ThinkParQ to develop storage solutions for modern HPC around the BeeGFS file system. While I’m no stranger to BeeGFS, I’m excited to have the opportunity to work more closely with the team and to continue my work in HPC,” said McCormick

In his new role, he will also help maintain the open-source BeeGFS CSI driver, which he helped launch and has proven to be a popular addition to the BeeGFS ecosystem.
