This patented technology will provide automatic self-healing of errors or failures encountered during a system restore or replication.  The technology is built upon an algorithm that analyses the run-time log files to provide automatic system restore failure resolution through ML.

Cristie Software has for some time provided the facility for restoring systems within an isolated virtual environment for recovery testing in advance of any disaster recovery situation so that potential problems can be resolved,” said Scott Sterry, VP business development, Cristie. “Our latest innovation takes this capability to the next level by providing automated identification and remediation for common system recovery failure scenarios through the application of AI and ML. These leading-edge techniques will deliver resolution guidance to help customers ensure that their recovery and replication jobs will work when they are needed most.”

This latest award underpins the company’s ongoing software development that aims to provide customers with advanced system recovery and replication solutions. Automating system recovery, replication and migration has been the core focus of the firm’s product portfolio since inception. All major cloud and virtualization platforms can be supported as replication or recovery targets and specific extensions are available to enhance system recovery from backup solutions such as Dell Technologies’ Avamar and Networker products, Cohesity DataProtect, Rubrik Security Cloud and IBM Spectrum Protect.
