Philip Black, 43, CEO of Box Hill Systems, plans to take a medical leave of absence from his duties at the company.

He plans to undergo surgery to reconstruct a cardiac mitral valve and is expected to make a full recovery after 3 to four 4.

COB and founder Dr. Benjamin Monderer will assume Black’s responsibilities during his absence.
