Toshiba: Fiscal 2Q21 Financial Results
HDD (and others) represented ¥259.5 billion in 1FH21, up 83% from 1FH20.

Into electronic devices and storage solutions, HDDs (with also materials and devices, and resale of memory products, etc.), represented ¥259.5 billion in 1FH21, up 83.4% compared to 1FH20, with operating income of ¥22.7 billion, up yearly 18.6%. That’s the result of recovery of operation rate in factories, increased sales in high capacity HDDs for large-scale data centers.
Forecast for this segment is ¥510.0 billion for entire FY21, up 28% from FY20.
