UltraBac Provides Continuous Microsoft Server Replication
With near instant failover or for migrating from any cloud provider to Azure
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 14, 2021 at 1:32 pmUltraBac Software provides continuous Microsoft server replication with near instant failover or for migrating from any cloud provider to Microsoft’s Azure cloud.
Setting up the company’s replication solution on a critical cloud based server requires a 30-60 minute installation with an Internet connection to your Azure storage account. Once installed the initial full block based replication creates a bootable disk in low cost storage. Subsequent incremental changed block only replications can be scheduled at any required interval creating unlimited point-in-time recovery points for failover or migration.
Once replication is operational you can run the firm’s dashboard from anywhere to test the status of replicated servers without affecting the continuous replication process. Select a server, a point-in-time, and click on the test option. The firm then creates, configures, and attaches the bootable disk to an Azure VM in 1-3mn. Exiting the dashboard automatically deletes all running test VMs eliminating accidental runtime costs.
Pruning logic, when enabled, will automatically delete a server’s Azure replication files from storage when expiration parameters are met.
Failed replications are self-healing as of next successful operation, company’s solution can replicate:
-
Any cloud provider to Azure.
-
VMware VMs to Azure.
-
Hyper-V VMs to Azure.
-
Physical servers to Azure.
When replicating on-prem machines to Azure concurrent virtual replication and/or image backup for fast BMR with dissimilar hardware restore can be added at any time.
The company enables an organization to select any combination of replication and backup options that best meet their BC requirements and recovery goals.
