Quick and easy drive swap
Connect the 2.5-inch or M.2 SATA drive (*) to the EZ-Adapter and then plug the USB type C to A cable into the system to immediately start the data transfer. The tool-less drive installation allows the MB031U-1SMB to swap multiple HDDs or SSDs within seconds, making the process quick and easy.
Open-air design
The open-air design allows 2.5” and M.2 drive to be fully exposed for passive heat dissipation.
Data transfer on go
The EZ-Adapter MB031U-1SMB has been engineered for mobility but does not compromise functionality and durability. The adapter is made out of lightweight but ABS plastic with a smooth finish that will not damage other equipment when it’s placed in your carry-on bag. The compact design allows the adapter to be carried everywhere.
Compatibility
The EZ-Adapter comes with a USB type C to A cable and supports data transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s via USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. It’s backward compatible with the USB 2.0 ports that often available on legacy PC/Mac systems and other devices such as DVR, Smart TV, and Android TV Box. It supports plug and plays technology with no driver required.
Power switch and LED indications
The EZ-Adapter is equipped with a LED indicator light that shows the drive power and activity. The individual slide power switch allows users to power off the drive when it is not used to reduce drive usage and conserve power consumption.
