MSI Launches Spatium Series M.2 2280 Gen4 and Gen3 PCIe NVMe Up to 2TB SSDs
Including M480, M470, and M370 models, with 3D NAND flash

The initial product offering will include M480, M470, and M370, which are Gen4 and Gen3 PCIe NVMe SSDs in M.2 2280 form factors that can be installed into compatible desktop motherboards and laptops.
The company continues to refine its identity as a performance PC brand and Spatium was envisioned to expand its ecosystem and cover the high-performance storage category. These SSDs are built with quality, 3D NAND flash that deliver the best compromise of performance and endurance for professionals, content creators, and gamers. Among the performance improving technologies include a DRAM cache buffer for M480 and M470, and a SLC cache for all announced models.
Spatium M480
Spatium M480 brings next-level storage performance to demanding content creators and gamers. Compliance with PCIe Gen 4 and NVMe 1.4 standards unleash transfer speeds up to 7,000MB/s sequential read and 6,850MB/s sequential write speeds. It will be produced in storage capacities of 500GB, 1TB and 2TB. They are the fastest in the Spatium lineup.
Spatium M470
Spatium M470 was developed to meet the expectations of mainstream SSD consumers. Speeds up to 5,000MB/s sequential read and 4,400MB/s sequential write speeds allow users using the latest generation of PCs to enjoy the capabilities of the PCIe Gen4 interface. Available storage capacities are 1TB and 2TB.
Spatium M370
Spatium M370 is an entry-level offering with its PCIe Gen3 interface, yet still offers the essential benefits of rapid file transfers and short loading times. 256, 512GB, one and 2TB storage capacities are available that deliver speeds up to 2,400MB/s sequential read and 1,850MB/s sequential write speeds.
All of the announced Spatium SSD products support a range of data error correction features including LPDC ECC and E2E data protection, providing a high TBW (Terabytes Written) for durability and longevity. A limited 5-year warranty backs these products.
