To power cloud services platform while reducing capital expenditures "by 35%"
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on July 1, 2021 at 2:30 pmSafeDX s.r.o, a European provider of data center, cloud and IT services in Praha, Czech Republic, has selected the HPE GreenLake edge to cloud platform to support its new hybrid cloud services offering and drive business growth.
SafeDX will use HPE ProLiant servers for a performing computing platform, and HPE Primera, for intelligent storage for mission-critical applications, delivered as a service through the GreenLake cloud platform.
The solution will enable SafeDX’s customers to respond to workload and compute requirement, develop new applications 3xs more quickly, and accelerate software solution deployment across both public and private cloud environments.
Part of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., trading as Foxconn Technology Group, SafeDX was founded in 2016 to drive the expansion of the company’s data center business in Central and Eastern Europe. Last year Foxconn established SafeDX as an independent service provider to help organizations implement software solutions across hybrid cloud environments in addition to supporting the critical applications for Foxconn’s own factory in Kutna Hora and Pardubice. By partnering with HPE, SafeDX sought to accelerate its business transformation and create a hybrid cloud services offering that ensures compliance with the European data protection policies and meets the security demands of highly regulated sectors.
“We wanted to provide our customers with a unified cloud solution that allows easy and flexible software development, fast deployment and seamless management. The GreenLake cloud platform enables us to offer our customers just that – in a secure and robust IT environment,” said Miroslav Černík, CEO, SafeDX. “With HPE, we know we have a reliable partner with the technological expertise and customer-centric focus that fits SafeDX’s business model and can support us in bringing new solutions to market quickly and efficiently.“
By selecting the GreenLake cloud platform to power its services, SafeDX will enable its customers to develop, deploy and manage a large number of applications across multiple clouds and save up to 35% in comparison with global public cloud providers. Moreover, the offering will combine the benefits of its cloud platform, that enables organizations to streamline operations using containers and pre-built Kubernetes, along with the flexible IT infrastructure that can be tailored according to customers’ needs – all delivered through the GreenLake cloud platform. Thanks to the HPE as-a-service solution, SafeDX will be able to scale the IT infrastructure at any time while acquiring new customers. Additionally, the company will keep financial flexibility and eliminate overprovisioning costs with the pay-per-use model built into the GreenLake offering.
“We are delighted to partner with SafeDX on its journey to streamlining operations for its customers and opening up its business to new opportunities,” said Jan Joska, channel and SMB manager, HPE. “We have successfully shown that the reliability and flexibility provided by HPE’s as-a-service offering is a key business advantage and delivers direct value to customers and partners across Europe and beyond.“
The GreenLake edge to cloud platform provides customers with a foundation to drive digital transformation through an elastic as-a-service offering that can run on premises, at the edge, or in a colocation facility. The GreenLake cloud platform combines simplicity and agility with the governance, compliance, and visibility that comes with hybrid IT. It offers a range of cloud services that accelerate innovation, including cloud services for bare metal, compute, container management, core payment systems, data protection, electronic medical records, 5G, HCI, HPC, ML operations, networking, risk management, SAP HANA, storage, VDI, and VMs. The GreenLake Cloud Services business is growing with over $4.8 billion in total contract value and more than 900 partners selling GreenLake. The platform has more than 1,200 enterprise customers across 50 countries in all industry sectors and sizes including Fortune 500 companies, government and public sector organizations, and small and midmarket enterprises.
