Phison: April 2021 Financial Results
Revenue for January-April at NT$17.979 billion, historical record high for same period

Revenue totaled NT$5.091 billion, while accumulated revenue for January- April 2021 reached NT$17.979 billion, a record high for the same period in history.
The company will continue to work hard to coordinate production capacity with suppliers. It also look forward to working together with partners and customers around the world to pass this wave of semiconductor boom cycle.
Consolidated revenue for the month is a 42% increase Y/Y, the third highest in a single month in history. The cumulative revenue of the year to April reaches a 9% increase Y/Y compared to the same period last year.
Total shipments of PCIe SSD controller in April grew by more than 100% Y/Y; the total shipments of industrial memory modules grew by nearly 70%, a record monthly high.
In addition, for the annual yearly growth rate of total shipments accumulated throughout the year (January to April), the total shipments of PCIe SSD controller grew by more than 97%, setting a new historical high for the same period; the total annual growth rate of industrial memory module shipments exceeded 32%, a record high in the same period in history; the annual cumulative total memory bits shipments also grew by more than 45%, a record high over the same period in history.
K.S. Pua, CEO and chairman, said that the global semiconductor industry supply chain capacity is still tight, and there is no sign of relief in the short term. In addition, currently upstream and downstream suppliers have an Open Price transaction method (first place an order to confirm production capacity, and then adjust the price according to market supply and demand before shipment). In order to meet the stable delivery promises of global partners and customers, the company was forced to accept the trading model derived during this unusual period.
