In the past, Buffalo partnered with NovaBackup. to provide TeraStation users a complete backup solution: a storage device with a backup software suite included. TeraStation professional NAS devices would come with one server license and 10 PC licenses for the included NovaBackup Buffalo Edition software.
In an effort to provide their users with the best backup solution, the 2 companies have enhanced this bundle. The TeraStation NAS now comes with one Business Essentials Buffalo Edition license and 10 PC Buffalo Edition licenses free of charge, providing an annual value of $799.95 to TeraStation NAS users.
As of February 22, 2021, all new TeraStation NAS registrants will receive the upgraded bundle. Below is a chart of all of the upgrades that users will be receiving for registering their product:
