Shiva Pillay SVP for AsiaPac and Japan, Veeam

He has been promoted from his position as VP sales and field operations, APJ.
Reporting to Bill Largent, chairman and CEO, he will spearhead the company’s growth strategy in the region.
The software company recently announced its 4Q20 global results, posting another quarter of double-digit growth with an annual recurring revenue of 22% Y/Y and 24%% Y/Y increase in APJ.
Its Cloud Data Management Platform was displayed in the recent IDC Semi-Annual Software Tracker for Data Replication & Protection 1H20 which showed that it has delivered the fastest revenue growth Y/Y in 1H20, among the top 5 vendors, the combined revenues of non-top 4 vendors and overall market average.

Formerly in roles at The SCE Group, Prevalent Inc. and SevOne, Pillay brings to the role experience across sales, consulting, and revenue gen. He joined Veeam in mid-2018 as VP sales and field operations of APJ, responsible for leading all inside sales, cloud service providers, channels, alliances, pre-sales and professional services functions across the region.
