Stardom SR4-SBA31+ 4-Bay USB 3.2 Type-C Portable RAID

Stardom, a brand from Raidon Technology, Inc., announces SR4-SBA31+, a 4-bay USB 3.2 Type-C RAID storage, comes with one e-SATA and USB Type C interfaces, provide 24W USB power delivery for notebook charging and one Display Port for 2nd monitor expansion.

It provides USB Type-C to C and USB Type-C to A cables, and can connect to USB Type-C or USB Type-A Host interface. It is equipped with LCM display, LED indicator and touch button and is for Windows PC or Mac OS.

The SR4-SBA31+ supports four 3.5″ or 2.5″ HDD or SSD and comes with standard hot-swappable drive tray. It provides USB PD (Power Delivery) of 15W (5V/3A), 18W (9V/2A) and 24W (12V/2A) charging for notebook and mobile phone. It also provides one Display Port that can supports DP1.1 up to 4K@30Hz output quality for users to expend the 2nd monitor. It is also embedded the hardware RAID chip inside which provides RAID-0/5 and JBOD modes, users can use the different RAID setting based on the different applications, and can use Type-C to C cable or Type-C to A cable to connect to any host computer or laptop which has the USB type-C or USB type-A interface to get the maximum transmission speed up to 3Gb/s.

The exterior of SR4-SBA31+ is designed with the touch button for power and setting function for the user friendly. Firstly user just need to turn on the power switch on the backplane and can touch power on and off the device for ease use at all the times. On the other hand, It is equipped with readable LCD display and LED indicators for system monitoring, so that users can grasp the status of the system at all times during the operation. Besides, it also built in temperature control detection function and allows users to adjust the fan speed to keep the device at a certain temperature without affecting the transmission performance. And, it has the buzzer alarm, so that the device will be warning whenever failure occurs, and the user can also turn off the buzzer to avoid noise interference.

The SR4-SBA31+ is designed with aluminum construction for heat dissipation.
