Raidon GR3680-BA31 2-Bay USB 3.2 Gen2 Desktop RAID

Raidon Technology, Inc. released the dual bay USB 3.2 Gen2 storage device GR3680-BA31, which can support 2×2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA HDD/SSD, and has RAID-0 and RAID-1 modes.

It has a standard USB Type C connector, provides both USB Type-C to Type-C and USB Type-C to Type-A cables, and can connect to USB Type-C or USB Type-A Host interface. In addition, it provides LCM display and LCE indicator, and is suitable for Windows PC or Mac OS.

The GR3680-BA31 storage can install 2×2.5″ or 3.5″ SATA SSD/HDD and is compatible with all USB3.2 Gen 1, 2/2.0 spec. Users can use Type-C to Type-C cable or Type-C to Type-A cable to connect to any host computer or laptop which has the USB type-C or USB type-A interface to get the maximum transmission speed up to 6Gb/s. And it has 2 RAID modes that users can use the different RAID setting based on the different applications.

The product is equipped with the back light screen that can display the module status, and also has the LED indicator for users to view the HDD status. The front panel buttons of the system have a setting function that can directly set up for RAID, and the front panel alarm warning design and mute button enable the user to immediately turn off the buzzer when the device encounters a malfunction, to avoiding the noise. The overall front panel design makes the users to operate and maintain this product more convenient and easier.

GR3680-BA31 also provides the software RAIDGuide Manager monitoring program (for Window OS only) for users to understand the SMART information and HDD status more clearly and users can exchange the HDD before it damaged. And after setting the monitoring program, it will take the initiative to send emails to users when the HDD fails. This instant notification allows users to be aware of the situation as soon as possible to remedy the situation faster.
