Verbatim Launches SureFire Brand Name for HDD/SSD USB 3.2 Portable Drives for PC and Console Gaming

SureFire is a new brand owned by Verbatim GmbH specially designed for PC and console ^(*) gaming enthusiasts.

The first products launched under the brand are the GX3 Gaming HDD and the GX3 Gaming SSD, and more than 20 other gaming products are planned for launch before the end of the year.

Extented gaming storage
PlayStations, Xboxes, laptops and PCs have limited storage capacities and the latest games quickly fill them up leaving no space for new titles. The SureFire External Gaming SSDs and HDDs provide extended storage for gamers looking to save their gaming library in a convenient, high capacity, on-the-go device.

2TB Surefire GX3 Gaming HDD

With the 2TB Surefire Gaming HDD capable of storing up to 50+ games ^(**), players no longer have to decide which games to delete from their console or PC in order to make room for new titles – they can keep them safely on the SureFire drive as well as take them to a friend’s house to play there.

These gaming HDDs and SSDs are plug-and-play which allows players to get up and running in minutes, and being compact in size with no power cable, it makes them convenient for the living room or to take to another location to play there. Alternatively, the drive can be used as a regular external storage device if not needed for gaming.

GX3 Gaming SSD

Theses drives feature multi-colour RGB changing LED accent lights in keeping with gaming set-ups and an edgy design influenced by the latest consoles. The drives comes pre-installed with Nero Backup software ^(***) for system backup and restore functionality which allows users to schedule automatic backups.

With USB Superspeed 5Gb.s data transmission (USB 3.2 Gen1) for fast game loading and backup, the company’s HDD and SSD devices include a Micro-B to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter which enables Mac and PC owners to benefit from improved connectivity to USB-C and USB-A ports.

The GX3 Gaming HDD has a recommended retail price of €72.99 for the 1TB version (PN 53681) and €95.99 for 2TB (PN 53682), while the GX3 Gaming SSD has a recommended retail price of €99.99 for the 512GB version (PN 53683) and €148.99 for 1TB (PN 53684).
