This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on October 16, 2020 at 2:14 pmAddlink Technology announced N10/N50 addNAS SSD product line.
addNAS N10 SSD
Aim at home, SOHP, or SMB NAS applications.
addNAS N10 and N50 SSD, 6Gb and M.2 PCIe Gen3x4 SSD, are designed to meet 24/7 workload and requirements of NAS device as caching, tiered storage, or all-SSD array.
addNAS N50 SSD
Today’s NAS often comes with 2.5GbE/10GbE and higher connectivity interface which allows greater performance from system. In addition, with SSD prices continuing to become more affordable, it’s a better time to replace traditional HDDs with using SSDs.
Performance and low latency
The addNAS SSD operates fast and with better response times and lower latency compared to traditional HDD. It consumes less power, causes nearly no noise and heat. No moving parts for shock/drop resistant.
Better endurance, aim at 24/7 workload application
The addNAS SSD use the controller that support ECC technology combines LDPC with RAID protection, wear leveling, bad block management. Together, with these technologies extend the P/E (Program/Erase) cycle endurance of the SSD.
The device also supports TRIM feature to improves the read and write performance and extending the lifetime of SSDs. The SMART feature can monitor current temperature and SMART. status of the drive and overall health status.
addNAS SSD comes in 2 form factors (M.2 2280 and 2.5″ SATA).
N50 is an M.2 NVMe SSD with sequential R/W up to 2,500/2,100MB/s and deliver up to 280,000/250,000 IO/s random R/W. N10 is a 6Gb 2.5″ SSD with speeds up to 550/500MB/s Sequential R/W and with 82,000/86,000K IO/s random R/W. Both items are available in capacity from 256GB to 2TB.
These SSD brings together endurance, speed, and flexibility. This drive is for home, SOHO, and SMB NAS environments with best use cases including multi-user environments, photo rending, 4K/8K video editing and other demanding applications.
The addNAS SSD comes with warranty of five years and is available on Amazon.
