Verbatim Portable Store'n'Go Mini Up to 1TB SSD With USB3.2 Gen 1 Interface

Verbatim GmbH has launched the Store’n’Go Mini SSD, a lightweight SSD in a black 3D surface design.

Available in 512GB and 1TB capacities, the palm-sized Store’n’Go Mini SSD weighs 35g and has a USB3.2 Gen 1 interface for data transfer speeds of up to 5Gb/s.

It is the latest (and smallest) in a range of high-capacity storage devices using the Store’n’Go black 3D enclosure. Others include a range of portable 2.5″ HDDs, 2.5″ portable SSDs, fingerprint encrypted portable HDDs, and desktop HDDs.

To enable Mac and PC owners to benefit from improved connectivity to USB-C and USB-A ports, the Store’n’Go Mini SSD includes a Micro-B to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. The drive is FAT32 formatted which allows it to be used interchangeably between Windows and Mac computers without reformatting. For content with files sizes larger than 4GB, software is supplied on the drive to reformat to HFS+ for Macs and NTFS for Pcs.

Customers choosing the 1TB model can expect to typically store up to 2,000* films, 250,000* songs or 450,000^(*) photos.

The drive comes pre-installed with Nero Backup software ^(**) for system backup and restore functionality which allows users to schedule automatic backups. This SSD also has USB Rec&Play^(***) to allow the drive to act as a video recorder for TVs that support USB connectivity, allowing recording, playback and pausing of live TV.

The Store’n’Go Mini SSD has a recommended retail price of €74.99 for the 512GB version (PN 53236) and €129.99 for 1TB (PN 53237).
