Czech Xorus Updates Freeware Monitoring Tool STOR2RRD

Czech based company Xorux s.r.o has released the latest version of their freeware monitoring tool STOR2RRD.

Major enhancements are support for more storage systems and new features.

Storage support:

• NetApp SolidFire

• Hitachi Content Platform (HCP)

• Qnap

• FalconStor FreeStor

• NetApp E-Series re-implementation using REST API

Features:

• IBM Storwize/SVC/flashSystem, Lenovo DE Series: o Support for new tier level SCM (Storage Class Memory)

• Physical capacity graphs when compression is in place

• All tiers used capacity in single aggregated graph for each pool

• Dell EMC VMAX/PowerMAX: health status implemented for Unisphere v9+

• Hitachi VSPG: implemented REST API access as replacement for Hitachi CCI and SNMP

• SAN Topology total diagrams

• SAN Brocade: implemented RX and TX power levels graphs for SFP

The company is an independent company which is developing performance monitoring tools LPAR2RRD and STOR2RR.

LPAR2RRD is a tool for performance monitoring and reporting of server virtualization (VMware, IBM Power Systems, XenServer, Solaris, Hyper-V, KVM/oVirt and Linux). STOR2RRD is a tool for performance monitoring and reporting of storage and the SAN systems. STOR2RRD currently supports storage from major storage vendors like IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, Huawei, Lenovo, Pure Storage, Dot Hill, Quantum, Fujitsu, Inifinidat, DataCore Brocade, Cisco and Qlogic.
