History (1992): Co-Founder Juan Rodriguez Retired as Chairman of Exabyte
Replaced by Peter Behrendt, also CEO and president
By Jean Jacques Maleval | May 12, 2020 at 2:29 pmExabyte Corp. (Boulder, CO) announced the retirement of its COB, Juan A. Rodriguez, who co-founded the company in 1985 and will continue to serve as a member of the board and as a part-time consultant to the company.
Firm’s board of directors also elected Peter D. Behrendt as the new COB who continues to hold the titles of president and CEO.
Martin R. McCoy, Jr. was promoted to the newly-created position of VP of strategic planning and programs. He will report to Behrendt.
Previously McCoy was VP marketing, reporting to SVP sales and marketing James D. Greeenup.
