2020 Board of Directors of SCSI Trade Association

The SCSI Trade Association (STA), an authority on SAS technology used in storage interconnects, announced its 2020 board of directors.

Representing many companies in the storage industry, 4 officers and 3 directors-at-large have been elected to serve a one-year term. They are charged with developing strategic marketing programs that support the work of the INCITShttp://www.incits.org/ T10 Technical Committee and are designed to educate the industry of SAS in the marketplace.
 
Cameron T. Brett, director of enterprise marketing at Kioxia America, Inc., was re-elected for a second term as STA president.

Alexandra Haser, senior industry standards engineer, Molex, joins the board as secretary, a position previously held by Greg McSorley, technical business development manager, Amphenol, who rejoins the board as director at-large.

All other 2020 board members remain in the same position they held in the 2019 roster.
 
“SAS technology addresses a very large and continuously growing market, natively supporting many host connections to potentially thousands of target devices in a single topology,” said Brett. “SAS is undergoing an evolution, transitioning to 24Gb SAS in 2020, implementing new features and enhancements to reach new application performance levels.”

• Treasurer: Chet Mercado, technical marketing engineer/third party alliance, Western Digital Corporation
