Together they deliver a modular, easy to consume, optimized, and consistent enterprise-ready software and storage service foundation for containerized environments to offer an open, faster, and more secure way to move core business applications to any cloud.

IBM Storage Suite for IBM Cloud Paks V1 is a single-priced product identifier (5737-M11) that contains the following IBM Storage and Red Hat Storage offerings:

• Spectrum Scale Data Management Edition V5
• Spectrum Virtualize Software-only V8
• Cloud Object Storage System V3
• Spectrum Discover V2
• Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage V4
• Red Hat Ceph V3

IBM Storage Suite for IBM Cloud Paks is a single software license that entitles you to use a combination of these product capabilities with flat cost per virtual processor core (VPC) licensing.

Based on the storage requirements in your environment, it has two options for capacity; Standard Edition and Capacity Edition. With the Standard Edition, you will be entitled to up to 2TB of storage capacity per VPC licensed. With the Capacity Edition, you will be entitled to up to 20TB of storage capacity per VPC licensed.

It delivers the flexibility to choose between open-source Red Hat or IBM Spectrum for file, block, and object storage. IBM Spectrum Discover and Red Hat OpenShift Container Storage are available for each deployment and do not count towards capacity entitlement.

Buy what you need, when you need it, and mix and match your data service capacities as business dictates with block, file, or object storage, or any combination of the three.
